GTA 6 is officially confirmed for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games reconfirmed this date. A PC version is expected in 2027.

GTA 6 will launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. A PC version is confirmed but arrives approximately 12-18 months later, targeting late 2027. No PS4/Xbox One versions are planned.

Yes — Rockstar has confirmed a PC version is in development. Based on past history and leaked documents, the PC release is expected in late 2027. It will support DLSS 4, FSR 4, ray tracing, and ultra-wide monitor support.

Based on insider reports and leaked development footage, the GTA 6 map is estimated 2-3x larger than GTA V. It spans the state of Leonida (based on Florida), featuring Vice City as the main hub, plus rural areas, Everglades-like swamps, and explorable ocean.

GTA 6 features two protagonists: Lucia (the series’ first playable female lead) and Jason. They are a couple involved in Vice City’s criminal underworld. Players switch between them similar to GTA V’s multi-protagonist system.

Confirmed improvements include a new reactive NPC AI system, revamped economy with properties and businesses, enhanced driving and gunplay, dual-protagonist co-op, realistic weather systems, and an expanded criminal enterprise management system. The physics engine has been rebuilt from scratch.

As of mid-2026, Rockstar has released 4 official GTA 6 trailers. The first trailer dropped in December 2023 and broke YouTube records. Subsequent trailers have revealed the map, characters, gameplay mechanics, and story elements.

GTA 6 is expected to be priced at $79.99 USD for the standard edition on consoles. A Collector’s Edition and Ultimate Edition with bonus content are anticipated. Pre-order bonuses are expected 2-3 months before launch.

Multiple editions are expected: Standard Edition ($79.99), Premium/Deluxe Edition with additional story content and GTA Online currency, and potentially a Collector’s Edition with physical merchandise. Official editions will be announced closer to launch.

Based on official leaks, minimum specs are expected to include: CPU — Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, GPU — NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti or AMD RX 5700, RAM — 8GB DDR4, Storage — 100GB SSD. Use the compatibility checker above for a personalized assessment.
